Rome, Rome, Rome, Rome...

I wanna go there someday. And I was I listening to "Rome" by Phoenix when I typed the title SO yeah :] I really like that band, they've got some fun songs. Haha, I like all the bands that get popular from being in TV commercials xD

Anyway. I have a job now, and it's eating my sanity. Or whatever semblance of sanity I have left. On the bright side, I finally got things set with USC, so I'm all ready to transfer there in time for the Fall '10 semester. I'm excited to go to a "real" college, as opposed to community, which I refuse to believe is real college.

Can't wait for the spring to get here so I can go back to my hometown and visit with all my friends. I've really been missing them a lot lately D:>

I threw out my back again this week, so I've got a bunch of Chiropractor appointments lined up for the next few days; hopefully that should help. He told me part of the reason my back keeps hurting is because my boobs are big LOL And my posture sucks, but I've never been good at standing up straight, haha.

I feel like I'm ranting off into tl;dr territory right about now, so I'll shut up for the time being. I hope to get a few sketch dumps up soonish, so look for that...

Pointless journal entry is pointless 8D

Halloween is this Saturday, so that's pretty spiffy. I'm gonna be the Mad Hatter and trick-or-treat like the mature adult that I am (not). I'm also going to paint Gurren Lagann on my pumpkin if it kills me.

I've been talking about Otakon a lot lately, despite it being countless months away; this year's JUST ended like what, two months ago? xD Everytime I think about it, I can't remember exactly who I want to cosplay. I know I'm definitely going to be Grell from Kuroshitsuji, but the other days are up in the air. I may get talked into a Hetalia cosplay, despite my neutral feelings for the show :|

I seriously need to find a guy who lives near me who cosplays because some of the characters I want to try sort of NEED a male companion to work :/ So frustrating. A friend who can sew and would be willing to help my sorry butt learn how to make costumes would be greatly appreciated as well...

Also I want to cosplay Yu-Gi-Oh. Badly.

See, this is why no one takes anime seriously anymore. Just throw all the anime fans into league with the Miley and Jonas spazztiods. Thanks. But really, who seriously thought airing a show like Naruto on a Disney network was a good idea? I'm not a Naruto fan myself, but as a fan of most things big eyed and shiny, I foresee a strange and n00b-ridden future for American anime fans.

:star: I've almost made it through my first semester of college and it really needs to stop being so ridiculously boring or I may flip some serious shit.

:star: It's almost Halloween and ~theAnimegirl22 is braving the horrors I've relayed to her of the south and is joining me on my oh-so mature adult trick-or-treating adventure.

:star: 'Days' frustrates me. But I discovered the joke weapons and they made me rather :iconimhappyplz:


My neighbors are extremely irresponsible dog owners. This is the millionth time I've seen a dog (with a collar, mind you) out alone late at night. If these stupid people can't even check to make sure their animals are safely in for the night, they don't deserve to own pets at all D< *rage*

358/2 Days - First Impressions

Alright, Square. Let's see how you did...

I started playing 'Days' not expecting a whole lot. Almost all of the reviews I had read about the game were negative, especially concerning the new character, Xion. While I'm not very far into the game (only on day 90 something) I have yet to find any severely annoying faults with Xion, besides the annoyance with Square for needlessly adding another Organization member. She hasn't exhibited any mary-sue-like qualities as of where I'm at currently, and she fits in very well with the Organization. She's non intrusive, quiet, and reserved. She's actually annoyed me less than Roxas has xD

So, we'll see how this goes. Prove those reviews wrong, Xion! Don't be a sue! (please?)

Gameplay is pretty simple, button masher attacks as per usual with the KH series. A couple of things I really didn't like: the item grid. Wtf, Square. Didn't you get enough hate back with the card system in COM? It's confusing and stupid; I would have MUCH rather had a basic inventory like the first and second games used. Also not a fan of the limited use of the touch screen. I'm finding my thumb is getting reeeeally tired of mashing that directional button. Some touch screen action ( Ex: 'The World Ends with You' ) would have been an excellent way to include the DS's touch features. (which is used so infrequently, I'm wondering why they chose to release the game for DS in the first place)

The plot is...nonexistent so far. The first few hours of game-play are strictly busy work time. You're assigned mission after mindlessly boring mission with bits and pieces of unvoiced cut scenes thrown in to keep you just sane enough to think something better HAS to be coming soon. I know there's a plot in here somewhere...

As of right now, I'm bashing myself in the head for not waiting a week or so and just buying the game used. Sooooo not worth the $37 -___-


So...tl;dr? xD Should I find that anything needs to updated as I play more of the game, I'll update.

And no, I'm not still "eager". Amazing fantastic fabulous dA is bugged up again. Joy. At least some things never change xD
